This approach has led us down a creative rabbit hole, resulting in designs that are truly out of this world—and just a little bit wicked.

Wicked speaks for itself, but we wanted to share why this design is so special. First, the quote "Float like a butterfly, flip like a gymnast" on the back holds deep meaning for us—it was part of one of the first designs Melanie ever created as a leotard designer. That quote represents the heart of our brand and its journey. The rich shades of green in this leotard are what truly set it apart. Green is often underrated, but it’s so striking and stunning, which made it the perfect choice for this piece. It also ties back to Elphaba’s unique, powerful story from Wicked. With both aurora borealis and green rhinestones, an open back, and that meaningful quote, this leotard feels both bold and personal. We’re so excited to share it with you and hope you love it as much as we do.

When we were finalizing this collection, we kept coming back to the magic of The Wizard of Oz and the excitement around the upcoming Wicked movie. Each leotard was designed to tell its own story, with a touch of that classic inspiration. Naming this one “She's Popular” felt perfect, capturing the confidence that the song embodies. The design also reminded us of the Tin Man’s journey and his wish for a heart, paying homage to the cult classic. That mix of confidence, strength, resilience, and a touch of vulnerability came through in the rich red-to-black ombré, the Aurora Borealis rhinestones, and the intricate back straps. It’s a piece that feels bold yet timeless, capturing the spirit of these iconic stories.

With our Defying Gravity leotard, we wanted to capture the thrill of feeling bold and limitless. Inspired by the iconic song from Wicked, this piece features hues of blue and black, evoking the vast sky and the magic of soaring above it all. The leotard also has a unique single strap on the back, which sets it apart from most leotards that typically feature multiple straps. This single strap symbolizes creative freedom—while subtle, it’s an element not often seen, as most designs balance the look with multiple straps. The asymmetrical back challenges the norm and fits seamlessly with the overall design. Aurora borealis rhinestones add just the right amount of sparkle. This design is all about embracing the freedom to stand out and break away from the crowd.
